Locums Anesthesiologist CRNA

We have an immediate need for a Locums Anesthesiologist - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. This position offers a great work-life balance with no call and no weekends. The CRNA will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for a variety of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, obstetrics (C-sections required), radiology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, and neuro. Trauma cases will not be included.

The majority of cases will involve general surgery, orthopedics, GI, and robotics. Active Florida licensure is required, and open availability is a must. Candidates must present their CV, EPA, and Skills Checklist during the presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, obstetrics (C-sections required), radiology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, and neuro.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and collaborate with the surgical team to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer anesthesia using various techniques, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical procedure.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, adjust anesthesia levels as needed, and respond to emergencies.
• Document anesthesia care accurately and maintain complete and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and protocols.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday.
• Option 1: Eight-hour shifts.
• Option 2: Four 10-hour shifts.
• Option 3: Three 12-hour shifts (7 am - 7 pm).
• Shift times: 7 am - 3 pm.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license.

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Board certification as a CRNA.
• NBCRNA (National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists) certification.

• Active Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license.
