Position Announcement: Commercial Driver's License Program Manager
Northeastern Junior College is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to serve as the Northeastern Junior College Commercial Driver's License Program Manager. The Northeastern Junior College Commercial Driving Instructor teaches and prepares students to pass Colorado Class A and Class B exams to become a commercial driver with job opportunities. The college operates a simulator and a variety of vehicles and works with students, high schools and various businesses to tailor and teach effective programs. The instruction includes manual and automatic transmission vehicles performing driving, backing, yard skills, pre-trips and all ELDT required material.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
Manage the CDL program for Northeastern Junior College in a cost effective manner including the supervision of adjunct instructors and oversight of enrollment, scheduling and billing. Conduct classroom and practical instruction, ensuring that course rigor produces safe and effective drivers that successfully pass licensing examinations. Be familiar with workforce training programs and grants, manage the budget and equipment used in the program, and market the CDL Program to prospective students in coordination with the Director of Marketing. Assist in course planning and coordinate with local school districts and businesses to tailor training to specific needs.

This is a full time position, which pays $84,000-$90,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience. This salary includes both program management and instruction. Work may include evening and weekend courses to support local business needs. Position to begin as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.
