About the Opportunity Responsibilities: The Manager – Business Services will oversee operating agreements and provide analysis on business/financial activities supporting the Business Services team. This will entail operational oversight of the following revenue generating units: Reprographics, Laundry, Vending, Multi-Function Devices. The position ensures compliance with the terms of contract agreements, serves as the main liaison between vendor(s) and campus constituents, and ensures high levels of customer engagement by vendor staff in support of the Finance division’s values. Additionally, the Manager is accountable to the Associate Vice President in providing detailed management and analysis of operating funds; oversees the completion of budget and developing forecasts to measure projections/variance; provides input to leadership in facilitating decision making. These outcomes are delivered with high integrity, reflecting the values and principles of the Finance division via their work and that of the contracted vendors, and is in close collaboration with the Director of Admin Planning & Special Projects in the Office of the SVP of Finance. Qualifications: BA/BS required with 3-5 years experience in the administration, monitoring and oversight of vendor agreements Demonstrated experience in forecasting and projections development Ability to analyze and interpret reports; establish queries in resolving non-routine assignments Knowledgeable in financial software including spreadsheets, pivot tables, and Banner finance Key team player with a strong attention to detail Negotiation skills related to developing a RFP process with Procure 2 Pay colleagues Position Type General Administration Additional Information Northeastern University is an equal opportunity employer, seeking to recruit and support a broadly diverse community of faculty and staff.
