Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join our ARMHS team. The purpose of the Mental Health Practitioner is to teach and support symptom management skills as defined by the Minnesota comprehensive Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) consistent with the goals and philosophy of Northern Pines Mental Health Center to assigned adults who have functional impairment due to a mental health condition.
Essential Functions include:
- Individual contact in homes
- Evaluations
- Resource development
- Treatment planning
- Report writing
- Crisis intervention
- Travel within the region
Qualifications include:
- Must be flexible
- Demonstrate good time management skills
- Have a positive attitude
- Be a team player
- The ability to develop rapport and maintain confidentiality
- Strong writing and computer skills
- Travel is a requirement of the position; valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle are required
- Candidates for this position must be qualified as a Mental Health Practitioner as specified by Minnesota ARMHS legislation
