- Qualifications: Financial aid experience is preferred. Candidate must be focused on customer service and able to communicate effectively. Must be organized, detail-oriented and willing to learn. Computer background and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel desired.
- Responsibilities: The major function of this position is to manage the Financial Aid Office front desk. This includes mail, email, phone and walk-in traffic, counseling customers on financial aid processes, following up with students to complete requirements, and directing inquiries to other staff as needed. Other duties include supervising work-study students; managing file creation, maintenance, storage, and destruction; organizing large mailings; reviewing financial records to meet federal requirements; and coordinating with other departments.
