Job Summary

NRC is seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator to maintain the day to day staffing/scheduling needs. This position involves extensive telephone work and interaction with team members, residents and families. Must have organizational skills and detail oriented. This is a great opportunity to become a leader and mentor to your peers. This position will assist in rotating the on-call phone.

Hours: 40 hours per week, possible overtime based on business need / Hours may vary including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in maintaining staffing needs based on resident acuity
  • Maintain schedule for 80 resident aides who provide daily cares to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and more
  • Help staff to understand and follow care protocols
  • Take on-call rotation / every other week
  • Meet with new employees to go over training schedule

Qualifications and Skills

  • Outgoing, friendly personality. Staffers must be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents and be team players with fellow staff.
  • Past experience. 1 year of previous experience in a home care or long-term care setting is preferred. Past scheduling experience is desired.
  • Basic computer skills. Preferred candidates will have past experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
