IT Data Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, creating AI/ML algorithm-based analyses, writing SQL & PLSQL queries, and maintaining data integration programs. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with documenting data fields, creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards, and collaborating with business and technical teams to address data and analytics requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Analyzing Data: Extract, transform, and analyze data sets to derive meaningful insights and inform decision-making processes.

·        Creating AI/ML Algorithm-Based Analysis: Develop and implement AI/ML algorithms to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns or trends.

·        Writing SQL & PLSQL: Utilize Oracle Database to write SQL and PLSQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.

·        Writing Data Integration Programs: Develop and maintain data integration programs to ensure seamless data flow across systems.

·        Documenting Data Fields: Document data fields and maintain a data dictionary for reference and clarity.

·        Creating and Maintaining Tableau Dashboards: Design, create, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights effectively.

·        Creating and Maintaining Scripts for Data and File Transfers: Develop and maintain scripts for data and file transfers to facilitate efficient data management.

·        Working with Business and Technical Teams: Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand and address data and analytics requirements effectively.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:

Education/Experience/Skills

·        Proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL Server database, and Cloud databases.

·        Experience with Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).

·        Proficiency in Tableau Desktop for data visualization.

·        Proficiency in Python scripting, R scripting, and Java programming.

·        Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting.

·        Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

·        Knowledge of Application Programming Interface (API) and serverless computing.

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience Required:

·        Minimum 1 years of experience in working with any database platform.

·        Minimum 1 years of experience in any cloud-based solutions (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud).

·        Experience in AI/ML scripting and implementation.

·        Proficiency in programming languages.

·        Previous experience in the retail domain is preferred but not required.
