POSITION SUMMARY
We are searching for a dedicated and motivated Outreach Coordinator to join our Mercy Road team. This individual would be responsible for connecting and engaging with the surrounding communities and stakeholders to build relationships, manage relationships, manage communications, build referral networks, plan, execute and partner in outreach strategies, and activities. The role ranges from public relations to research to administrative duties in developing, growing and strengthening Mercy Road’s visibility and building our community relationships as it fulfills its mission.
Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly), Full-Time, 40 hours/week.
Work Environment: Office setting with frequent travel to community events and meetings

Credentials (Educational & Professional Requirements)
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
- At least two years of proven relevant experience in a similar role focused on community engagement, public relations, or nonprofit work.
- Proven experience of multitasking; being productive, focused, and flexible in a creative and sometimes chaotic environment.
- Demonstration of excellent written and oral communication abilities, and experience in coordinating events and programs, including public speaking and presentation skills.
- Shown proficiency in using social media and other digital platforms for community engagement and outreach purposes.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage and coordinate various outreach programs simultaneously.
- Certifications in project management, event planning, or related areas are a plus.
- Experience with fundraising, resource mobilization, and grant writing to secure the necessary resources for outreach programs.
- Show ability to create, manage and evaluate effective community outreach strategies and campaigns, using strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate tracking and reporting effectiveness and results of outreach efforts.
