What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Northland Machine, Inc.?
Northland Machine is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team!
Looking for a motivated individual to take on this essential role.
This position would be Monday - Friday from 7am to 3pm.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Verifying machined parts against blueprints using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial calipers, height gages and/or optical comparators.
- Interdepartmental communication
- Packaging parts for shipment
Desired Characteristics
- Able to perform mathematical calculation including decimals and fractions
- Experience using a variety of measuring equipment, such as those listed above.
- Experience in a CNC machining shop, or comparable field
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, while following safe work practices.
- Ability to lift 60lbs on an occasional basis

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
