Korean Translator
Job Posting for Korean Translator at Northline Industrial, Inc.
As a Korean/English Translator at our automotive supplier company, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between our purchasing and engineering departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and understanding between Korean-speaking and English-speaking team members. Your linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and technical knowledge will be essential in supporting the exchange of information within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Translation and Interpretation:
- Translate documents, emails, technical specifications, and other written materials from Korean to English and vice versa.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conference calls, and other collaborative sessions to ensure accurate communication.
- Work closely with the purchasing and engineering teams, bridging language gaps to facilitate effective communication and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Korean and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience as a translator, particularly in the automotive industry.
- Technical background or familiarity with engineering terminology is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness to navigate diverse work environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
