What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roof Repair Technician position at Northpoint Roofing Systems?
Northpoint Roofing Systems, recently awarded the 2020 Best of the Best award for our outstanding service and quality, is growing again. We are looking to hire an experienced Roof Repair Technician for our residential division. This is a full-time, W2 position with benefits, paid time off and a vehicle allowance. It will be based out of the Woodstock corporate office.
Position: Roof Repair Tech
This position will be responsible for completing repairs to roofing, siding and other roof components such as flashing, drip edge, pipe boots, etc.
The ideal candidate will have great work ethic, clean driving record, and not only experienced with residential repairs but using computers for updating work orders. This position will work closely with our Director of Warranty and Production Department to complete repairs in a timely manner and to GA code.
Skills required for this position are:
- Min 3 yr construction experience; preferably roofing, siding experience
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures from very hot to very cold
- Experience and comfort level with climbing steep roofs to complete repairs as needed
- Able to communicate and interact with homeowners and coworkers
- Accurately read a tape measure
- Comfortable using power tools
- Dependable
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
