Accounting Manager - CPA

The ideal candidate will have a mix of public and corporate accounting to include multi-entity and location experience.

Duties:
 
  • Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations and financial reports and statements to ensure compliance with various statutory requirements, generally accepted accounting principles, and established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, projects, inventory, fixed assets, and other financial data.
  • Monitor and review financial transactions and activities.
  • Maintain accounting controls and audit documents.
  • Continuous process improvement along with utilization of turnkey accounting tools to facilitate modernization of finance.
  • Assist in the preparation of various special reports as directed.
  • Assist with external audit requests and provide information as requested.
  • Provide technical accounting support to various departments.
  • Assist with the development, review, and updating of accounting policies, procedures, checklists, and related documentation.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience, in a multi-location/multi-entity service company preferred.
  • Some public Audit experience is a big plus.
  • CPA is a MUST.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Vista accounting software strongly preferred.

Our client offers a salary of $110k - $140k 10% bonus and benefits.
