Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Production Planner 4 for the B-2 Modification Team at Whiteman AFB, Missouri.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers and modification team technicians.
- Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, Air Force technical orders, and other engineering releases.
- Determines the need for tooling, makes recommendations for the design and planning of required tools, assists in the development of tool usage instructions.
- Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing and coordinates with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to specifications and time requirements.
- Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records.
- May perform qualification training and other duties in support of modification team needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and 6 years additional education and/or experience in manufacturing, modifications, or aircraft maintenance.
- Current/active U.S. Department of Defense security clearance (U. S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Ability to obtain required Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet business needs.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, process specifications and technical data.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work seamlessly with multiple organizations, disciplines, and locations to achieve goals.
- Functional understanding of Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to work within strict quality and tool control standards.
- Ability to support overtime, occasional 2nd Shift or weekend coverage.
- Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current B-2 Special Access Program clearance.
- B-2 certifications F8503C, F8501, B3010, G1080
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extensive knowledge of B-2 modifications, process specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Experience with MES.
- Extensive knowledge of production in an aircraft modifications or manufacturing environment.

Salary : $61,200 - $102,000
