Northshore Autoworks is a small independent repair shop dedicated to servicing our local community and the surrounding area. We strive to keep stress levels low and work quality high within a family orientated work environment.
As our service writer you are the face of the business, the first and last person the customer will speak to whether face to face or by phone. Good personality and communication skills are a must. Must be computer literate and have solid time management skills. An ability to think outside the box, to find parts not available through normal sources, etc. is also an important skill.
Experience in the field appreciated, but not completely necessary as training will be available for the right person.
Some automotive repair knowledge is required as you must be able to relate a diagnosis from a technician, to the parts needed and a price estimate to the customer in a manner they can understand, regardless of their automotive knowledge.
Being literate in Spanish would also be a major plus, as many of our customers speak Spanish and getting through that language barrier can sometimes be a challenge.
