Role Objective:
To lead and inspire a team of young cheerleaders towards achieving excellence in cheerleading, focusing on skill enhancement, teamwork, and competitive success, while fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
General:
Uphold and enforce stringent safety protocols for all cheerleading activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all team members.
Offer tailored feedback and mentorship to cheerleaders, aiding them in setting and accomplishing their personal and team goals.
Keep up-to-date with the latest cheerleading techniques, trends, and safety regulations to continually enhance the team's performance and safety.
Engage in and promote community events and gym initiatives to build a strong sense of community and team spirit among athletes and their families.
Cheerleading:
Plan and conduct cheerleading practices for the team, customizing sessions to address the varied abilities and improvement goals of cheerleaders.
Develop and implement comprehensive skill advancement plans for the team, ensuring a structured progression in cheerleading skills from beginner to competitive levels.
Assess and track the progress of individual cheerleaders and the team, offering constructive feedback and adjusting coaching strategies to maximize each cheerleader's development and team performance.
Actively pursue professional development opportunities in cheerleading coaching and education, including workshops, certifications, and seminars, to ensure coaching methods remain current and effective.
Work collaboratively with other coaches and gym staff to align coaching approaches and share best practices, enhancing the overall quality of the gym's programs.
Serve as a motivational leader in the gym, inspiring cheerleaders through dedication, passion, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of cheerleading.
Requirements:
Over 18 Years old
Proven experience in cheerleading coaching, with a strong track record of leading teams to success in competitions.
Comprehensive understanding of cheerleading techniques, choreography, stunting, and safety protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and uniting a team towards common goals.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of cheerleading coaching and athlete development.
A track record of ethical conduct, leadership, and a commitment to excellence.
Proven ability in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Must pass a background check.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
