Description/Job Summary

SUMMARY
 
The employee assists in processing all paperwork and other materials related to Government contracting.

Responsibilities/Duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 

  • Invoices government entities for cost of vehicles.
  • Follows up with end users to ensure they have indicated receipt of vehicle so invoice may be paid.
  • Pre-bills paperwork for government vehicle purchase.
  • Maintains status reports for GSA contracting.
  • Provides profit forecasting on GSA orders.
  • Processes invoices upon arrival, entering into inventory.
  • Maintains all GSA contract file folders in an orderly manner.
  • Provides order inspection forms as needed to suppliers.
  • Picks up military plates for orders when needed.
  • Sees to the delivery of all contract related paperwork and materials in a timely manner.
  • Sales reports all delivered orders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and work area.

Required Skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization 
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals on an adding machine.  Ability to compute percentage rates and commissions on an adding machine.
 
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  Ability to pay close attention to detail when conducting all essential duties. 

Required Experience

EXPERIENCE

Two years of related experience with six months related experience in logistics or government contracting clerical functions  Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

EDUCATION

Some college.
