We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator for a full-time opportunity. The position is responsible for helping support existing IT systems, applications, and data hosted in the Cloud and on-premises. This person also works with a team to design and implement new technologies to ensure continued quality delivery of services.
Responsibilities
- Project management for implementation of new applications
- Integrate enterprise applications with cloud services to ensure seamless delivery of data to all users
- Interact with internal IT groups (Helpdesk, Networking, Telecom, Development), and other subject matter experts as key stakeholders in the planning and design of new applications and services
- Developing processes to automate management activities and new solution deployments at enterprise scale
- Working with business partners and vendors to monitor, manage, and maintain cloud environment and services
- Troubleshooting servers, applications, and cloud-based solutions to achieve timely problem resolution
- Creating, revising, and reviewing internal documentation of system designs
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Provide tier 3 support for systems and application issues escalated from the helpdesk
- Serve as a mentor and resource for System Admin I employees.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years experience in an IT Systems role
- 2 years of experience with Windows Server operating systems and Azure Active Directory, including App Services, Virtual Functions, Azure SQL, Enterprise Apps, App Registrations, SAML, OAuth2, Conditional Access Policies, and storage accounts.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 solutions stack, including Cloud App Security, Intune, Sharepoint, and Exchange
- Experience following a defined Change Management process
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to Windows servers, web servers, database engines, and file storage
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to travel periodically (California, Florida, Hawaii); travel expectation less than 10%
