Job Posting for Auto-Body Painter / Paint Prep at Northtown Automotive Companies
Occupational Summary:
Responsible for executing Paint prep and finishing for our Collision facility in accordance with Collision shop and factory standards.
Schedule:
Full-time, 3 day rotating schedule : 7:30AM - 9:00PM (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for one month and then Thursday/Friday/Saturday for the next month)
Qualifications:
Previous painting experience in a Automotive Collision Facility; Minimum 5 years
Must have the ability to do minor combination work
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.
Ability to operate smart phone, tablet and/or PC.
Valid in-state driver’s license.
Individual must be able to perform each Essential Job Function and Essential Requirements of Employment listed in official job description
Physical Requirements:
This is a physically demanding position. The technician will stand ten to twelve hours per shift, lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds several times during each shift, and use hoist and test equipment as needed. S/he will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach. S/he will use hand and power tools. S/he will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
