What you'll be doing...
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist provides a broad range of support to associates in multiple locations. In addition to directly supporting specific business teams, the HR Generalist may also lead HR related programs and projects.
You will:
- Develop collaborative relationships with leaders to support their unit's business needs
- Develop and exhibit strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements
- Provide general Human Resources related support across the business units
- Communicate effectively in writing or verbally with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate the unemployment claims program
Who you are...
- Educated. BA degree or equivalent skills and experience, PHR highly desired
- Experienced. Min. 5 years’ HR experience, training and labor experience preferred
- Knowledgeable. Strong knowledge of state and federal employment law
- Communication. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Team Player. Work independently and able to collaborate with others
- Tech Savvy. Strong MS Office skills and HR related technology platforms
