What you'll be doing...
As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for thoroughly reviewing participant and retiree pension and benefit claims and inquiries for accuracy in accordance with Plan Rules and procedures. You will:
- Review and approve claims, claim recalculations, and benefit options
- Provide exceptional service when responding to written and verbal requests
- Prepare and process benefit applications that may have unusual circumstances
- Create and send documentation to clients upon approval and denial of claims
- Complete monthly reports and provide training for new staff
Based on the successful candidate’s location preference, the job may be performed in Seattle (Federal Way or Mountlake Terrace), Portland, Pasadena, or Brisbane.
Who you are...
- Educated. Bachelor's Degree preferred (or combination of education and experience)
- Technically Savvy. Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint
- Communicator. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized. Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work independently

- Starting hourly rate of $27.64 - $37.40 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications.
