The primary duty of the Financial Aid Specialist is to produce reports and pinpoint students in need of error resolution, following established procedures, policies, and regulations. This position primarily focuses on processing duties and entails minimal direct engagement with students. The Financial Aid Specialist reports to the Director of Financial Aid.Essential Duties
Salary $36,000 annually
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic
and social programs.
Knowledge of campus and community resources.
Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to
campus academic and social programs.
Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs.
Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations.
Ability to compile information into report form.

Education and Experience
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in general business or related field; plus one year of experience in student financial aid or related area.
