What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (MA) - ASC position at Northwest ENT?
We are an Allergy practice with over 15 locations. Looking for two experienced and positive medical assistants to join our team! Full-time, Mon-Fri.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing support for doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and entering in medical history/vitals in office note
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Arrange orders/testing for patients
- Patient triage calls
- Prep medical procedures
- Clean exam rooms
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Run autoclave
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant. (2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Follow through and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience in EMR
- Certification in MA helpful; Or equal experience
- Great phone skills and upbeat approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
