The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services in accordance with the PCT’s skills/training and the needs of the Department within the Acute Care Setting. The PCT works under the clinical direction of the registered nurse (RN).
Patient Care Technician Part Time, Nights Position in the Surgical Care Unit at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital
- Part time: 24 hours, 12 hour shifts
- Nights: 6p-6a
- Welcome bonus eligible up to $10,000
- Eligible for shift differential

About this unit:
The Medical/ Surgical Care Unit , a busy unit with a lot of patient turnover ranging in acuity and ailments, some on chronic ventilators, provided cardiac monitoring, an excellent unit for building foundations as an RN.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Licensure & Certification:
- BLS required
- 1 year(s) of experience in an acute care setting preferred
