What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Team Leader position at Northwest Kids Dental?
We have an opportunity for an organized go getter who loves kids to lead our hard working dental team at Northwest Kids Dental in Woodlands Texas.
The Team Leader (TL) is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Practice, as well as the management of all staff members. The Team Leader provides support to Team Members and the Dentist, so they feel a strong desire to want to work at the Practice and with the Smile Center, by modeling team-centric behavior. Team Leaders inspire Team Members through hands-on operation as well as delegation. They ensure the office runs in a consistent fashion to provide the best patient experience and create a great environment for all Team Members through good communication, collaboration, and fair conflict resolution.
The Team Leader works closely with the clinical team and Regional Operations Manager to ensure a standard of excellence is in place. They promote and enable collaboration between operations and the Smile Center. They work daily on action plans with their office and Doctors to ensure success.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of management experience is required, dental management experience preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years in the dental industry preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental office procedures is required.
- Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols is required.
- Proficiency in dental software (Denticon highly preferred), MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and other various office software is required.
- Payroll processing experience is a plus.
- Proactive personality with the ability to be flexible and responsive is required.
- The ability to effectively communicate with patients, Doctors, family members, team members and leadership is required.
- Exceptional organizational skills are required.
- Must be team player; able to effectively build strong relationships at all levels of the organization, especially with in-office staff.
- Ability to travel to surrounding offices may be required.
- Must be available to respond to patient or operational issues outside of normal work hours (within reason). Saturdays may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
