This is a position overseeing the Perioperative Services at Oro Valley Hospital.
As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes. The Director, Clinical Nursing Services is responsible for directing nursing services.
Deep expertise in healthcare industry needs and trends related to assigned areas of oversight; Ability to develop and present strategy and operational plans; Operational and people management skills that result in patient satisfaction, on-going quality improvement and employee engagement of a diverse population; Results oriented with proven success at working collaboratively with all stakeholders to meet key goals.
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree within 2 years of employment in the role.
Preferred: Masters degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA).
Experience
Required: Five (5) years of professional experience in a periop or procedural department, including three (3) years in leadership.
Licenses/Certifications
Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS
Preferred: Nationally recognized certification in area of expertise.
