What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal RN ICU position at Northwest Med Ctr of Oro Valley?
Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work on a cohesive team in the ICU department at Oro Valley Hospital! This position is for an Experienced ICU RN to work Seasonal status in a 13 week contract working 36 hours weekly.
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures in the Intensive Care Unit. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to a manager or head of the nursing unit/department.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience:
Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
