Job Responsibilities:
- Visits new assignments/jobs, interfaces with the client, and sells the job.
- Scopes the damages, creates an estimate on a database, and submits it to the insurance company, property management company, asset manager or direct to a customer for approval. Write bids for change order work outside of insurance scope.
- Coordinate Repairs: Obtain bids that adhere to budget in company-written or adjuster provided scope, schedule sub-contractors and in-house carpenters, and ensure the project is completed in a timely manner and meets company quality, profitability, and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure all jobs adhere to OHSA regulations and have proper permitting, engineering, and environmental testing.
- Manages deadlines, progress, budgets, and quality on multiple projects simultaneously. This includes communicating project statuses within the company and to adjusters, customers, and other involved parties.
- Provide exceptional customer service through keeping open lines of communication and finding solutions that meet each customer’s needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Years in Construction Project Management or Estimating Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledgeable of the construction/restoration industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.; Ability to climb and maneuver through damaged properties.
