DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY AND SECURITY

Northwoods Credit Union of Cloquet, MN is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the position of Director of Technology and Security. Reporting to the SVP/Chief Technology Officer, this position will have the overall responsibility of maintaining security and stability for the credit union's technology infrastructure. This will include network hardware and software, servers, routers, switches, applicable operating systems, and communication links. The incumbent of this position will research and resolve network problems for end users, provide support and management of technology staff, provide input on efficiency and recommendations for changes, upgrades, or new products through on-going administration of the network.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to discuss technical issues, become thoroughly knowledgeable of all credit union security and technology, display a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, and must possess interpersonal skills, in order to foster sound relationships with credit union employees, members, and outside vendors.

ABOUT NORTHWOODS CREDIT UNION (NCU)

Our credit union began back in 1936 in a small trailer located on paper mill property. There were 5 paper mill employees with a vision of offering fairly priced products and excellent service to their hard-working coworkers. Today, we continue to serve the employees of select employer groups as well as anyone who lives, works, attends school, volunteers, or worships in Carlton, Pine, and St. Louis counties. Over the years we've changed names and locations, but our primary focus is still to provide exceptional member service and fairly priced products to our members. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• College Degree in a Technology related field
• 3-5 years of direct experience in technology related field is required
• Bachelor's Degree in Technology is highly desirable; however, sufficient direct experience can satisfy this requirement
• Management experience preferred
• Position requires the ability to work flexible hours and to travel between all our facilities as needed
• Ability to become proficient with our core processing platform and administration of all credit union security and technology
• Good interpersonal skills

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time, exempt position requires the ability to work flexible hours and to travel between all facilities as needed. Although hours may vary, the typical work schedule is Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
