Responsibilities
The role of the Non-Invasive CV Technician is to perform diagnostic testing on patients through use of age appropriate principles of growth and development. Tests are performed for patients aged neonate to 1 year, 1 year to 12 years, and adolescent through geriatric and include 12 lead EKG, 24 hour holter scanning with interpretation, treadmill exercise, pharmacological exercise, complex pulmonary/metabolic stress tests, Thoracic-bio impedance testing (non-invasive cardiac output), and Tilt Table testing.; Functions in a multi-skilled environment, which requires application of customer service and clinical skills. Assists with training students, technicians to perform EKG and holter monitors.
Qualifications
