What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Documentation Specialist position at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.?
BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for maintaining the Air Department's training documents. Assist the Revenue Air Operations Trainer with the upkeeping of the department training portal, systems, policies, and programs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain record of the department's training roster; ensure accuracy and update as needed.
Administer the IT service request process for all new hires and coordinate the onboarding equipment process with IT and HR Partners.
Coordinate training preparations by setting training schedules, developing/facilitating courses, organizing informative training materials, etc.
Act as point of contact for the Revenue Air training team & assist with administrative functions under the guidance of leadership.
Assist with the organization of training curriculum, job aids, materials, and websites.
Provide direct support to the lead trainer throughout program.
Manage and respond to all inquiries received through training mailboxes.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Post-secondary education preferred
EXPERIENCE: 2 years of administration or assistant experience. Familiarity with training or the handling of training documents preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Excellent administration and organizational skills. Proficient in the English language. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective with PC and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to act independently; Ability to display flexibility, creativity, and develop innovative solutions. Capacity to learn quickly and demonstrate growth within the role.
