Job Description
Norwood Land Services is seeking an Independent Landman with Title & Acquisition experience. Applicants must have 3 years verifiable experience or be a recent College Graduate. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and detail oriented while working in a competitive, fast-paced environment. Only candidates within 100 miles of Midland, Texas will be considered.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate Runsheet’s using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to examine and interpret complicated Mineral and Leasehold Title
- Create Ownership Reports reflecting Mineral Interest, Working Interest and Net Revenue Interest
- Identify title defects
- Negotiate Oil and Gas Leases
- Full understanding of modern lease language
- Ability to Travel to Courthouses
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 Years' Field Work Experience or Recent College Graduate
- AAPL Membership
- Local AAPL Chapter Membership preferred
Skills
- Ability to utilize and navigate all relevant online resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Meet strict deadlines to fulfill client expectations
Compensation
