SUMMARY:
The Customer Fulfillment Technician position can be the beginning of a challenging life long career or can be used as a stepping stone within the organization. This typically starts out as a temporary employment position with an opportunity for hire. New employees will work one on one with a mentor and will receive proper training in safety, quality systems, and job function. Customer Fulfillment Technicians will inspect product and place it into the hopper of the folder/gluer at production speeds. Documentation and paperwork need to be properly completed before the job is released to the next department.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES (THE “WHAT”):
- Packing of glued cartons into corrugated cases for shipment to our customers.
- Completes all documentation and reporting in the ERP accurately.
- Inspection of product being produced on the folder/gluer.
- Assists in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through inspection).
- Provides information to the operator, production lead and/or management during the production run minimizing waste.
- Performs other related duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Motivated individual with good communication skills.
- The ability to understand defects which may be encountered in the manufacturing of Folding Cartons.
- A positive attitude and good attendance with the willingness to work overtime on short notice.
- Team player that believe safety must always be practiced and be a priority.
- Hand eye coordination to feed or catch product in a fast paced production setting.
- Accurate reporting in the ERP and on other documentation.
- An eye for detail will be critical for detecting quality imperfections during production.
- The ability to make quality decisions while under production pressures.
- Mentoring skills for training new and inexperienced members of your team.
- Physical Requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
