We are pleased to announce the contingent opening for a/an Modeling and Simulation Engineer who will join our Modeling and Simulation team in Colorado Springs, CO and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for providing technical subject matter expertise support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation Directorate in support of digital engineering.
Responsibilities:
You ll be providing Modeling and Simulation support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) systems of systems development. Working with government engineers, contractors, and vendors you will provide technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, and management of system models. Support will be provided in all areas of system modeling, simulation, and analysis and may include test support, data engineering (preparation, integration, feature extraction), data science application, subsystem/component analysis, scene generation, environmental modeling, target signature modeling, terrain modeling, tool development, effectiveness analysis, and technology readiness experimentation for new and emerging systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- You must have a Bachelor s degree. Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Engineering degree preferred.
- You will need 5-7 years of full-time professional experience in areas such as DoD modeling and simulation, missile defense, Python, and MATLAB
- You must possess or can obtain an active Secret clearance.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong math, physics, or engineering background
- Experience and familiarity with Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM), Linux, Python, and MATLAB
- Experience with Missile Defense Systems (MDS), Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS)
- Modeling and Simulation experience with familiarity of MDS or BMDS sensors, assets, large scale programs, and architectures
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning or Neural Networks) a plus
