Does that sound like you?      Global Strategic Category Manager – Direct Materials   About The Job:   Nouryon’s Houston, TX location is looking for top candidates to fill the key role of Global Strategic Category Manager – Direct Materials. This position is essential to:   Developing procurement strategies at a regional and/or global category level for a total annual spend of 50-100 million USD of direct materials.   In Your Future Role as a Global Strategic Category Manager, You Will:   Good understanding of complex market dynamics and ability to apply critical thinking to develop effective procurement strategies that balance value with risk mitigation. Advanced negotiation skills. Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring smooth collaboration internally and externally. Good communication skills with the ability to engage people at all levels of the organization in a multicultural setting. Ability to resolve conflicts and building organizational alignment  Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint     We Believe You Bring:   Bachelor or Masters Degree in a business related area or industry, or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years experience in strategic and operational procurement Fluent in English.
