Does that sound like you?     About the job   Oversees all aspects of storeroom functions and activities, in line with Company Purchasing and Financial Guidelines for the Columbus Facility while ensuring targets with respect to production volume, product quality, cost, safety, health, security, and environment are met. Lead the Technical materials store strategy managing spare parts inventory effectively to optimize OWC (Working Capital) and material availability, using the analysis tools, setting proper tactics, and driving elimination of obsolete parts and reviewing the current Safety Stock levels.     In your future role as Process Controls Engineer you will:   Direct supervisor of storeroom keeper. Hire and train new employees for the area Responsible for ensuring safety, environmental and housekeeping standards are met. Responsible for compliance with all operating procedures, safety policies and procedures, environmental policies and procedures, quality policies and procedures, and site policies and procedures. Oversees and manages daily storeroom operations, maintaining inventories organized and up to date with its movements. Proactively seeks and implements storeroom cost improvement opportunities. Focused application of OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS, ISO, and other corporate governances, as well as OSHA-PSM regulations. Serve as Safety Role Model Execute cycle count Maintain availability of technical materials at minimum OWC Ensure availability of parts and material to support maintenance execution Ensure proper receipt and inspection of parts and materials Interfacing with reliability engineer to identify material criticality and availability/lead time requirements. Run MRP Stock replenishment and evaluate priorities and opportunities to drive the MRO cost down. Maintain material certificates and documentation Drive continuous improvement in the storeroom; own the TMM process Operating working capital of technical materials Deliver performance (OTIF) of storeroom. Create / Approve new stock codes using the Sphera system Maintain material master Data updates, as vendor information, price updates, info records, technical information to ensure that the vendors have POs issued and received correctly. Partner with NPR group to identify new vendors and opportunities to drive MRO cost and material consumption down. Other duties as required.   We believe you bring   High School diploma, plus five (5) years Chemical manufacturing experience or a 4-year College degree, plus two (2) years manufacturing experience would be ideal. Skilled in MS Office Solid experience with SAP-PM required Long extended periods of time on your   Great if you have     Union experience SAP experience   Good to know   This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Maintenance Manager at the Columbus, MS site.   Please apply via our online recruitment system.
