  • Directly oversee Customer Service staff including hiring, training, motivating and providing professional development opportunities for these employees.
  • Create and implement an on-boarding training plan
  • Create and implement new processes as needed 
  • Report team weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly data
  • Measure team performance and determine if existing practices and processes are generating adequate results
  • Suggest and implement improvement to processes as needed 
  • Work directly with Customer Satisfaction Specialists to ensure smooth flow of information between departments 
  • Monitor quotes and orders entered and oversee data storage 
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of products offered by Fiber Glass Systems in the relevant market
  • Communicate with customers through email and phone concerning current and/or potential orders, drawings, and technical information
  • Communicates with senior management 
  • Functions as subject matter expert for specific market 
  • Follow up on customer inquiries/orders by requesting necessary drawings, technical assistance, credit approvals, delivery information, price quotes, etc.  Provide customers with information and ensure customer’s signature is on all necessary documentation prior to processing orders.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director, Global Customer Service and Sales Support
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships 
  • Maintain and grow existing customer base through prospecting, sales account development, quoting, and customer communication and follow-up 
  • Advising customer on lead times, inventory levels, and pricing 
  • Assist customers with product questions, ordering, order tracing, complaints and issues
  • Facilitate closing of sales orders as well as working with internal contacts to ensure a clean process from quote to invoicing 
  • Adhere to company quality standards and corporate compliance guidelines, including acting as lead contact for customer service during audits.
