Production supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise shift while producing fiberglass products as scheduled
• Attain production goals as specified by the Plant Manager
• Motivate employees to give maximum efforts in a professional manner
• Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed
• Maintain weekly employee attendance records
• Maintain accurate production data
• Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and / or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates Degree is required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
• 3-5 years experience as a Supervisor
• Experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to plan and work with computer-controlled equipment
• Understand complex manufacturing specifications
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Travel less than 10%
• Dependability / Attendance
• Problem Solving / Judgement
• Effective communication skills

Salary Range :

• $66,650.00 - $70,864.00 annually
