What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scientist I position at Nova Biomedical Corporation?
We are currently seeking a chemist for our R&D Organic Research Lab. The individual in this role will be responsible for the synthesis of both routine and novel chemicals used in a variety clinical analyzers and instrumentations. Responsibilities include: conducts research and development in assigned area, under general supervision, using established methodologies; performs literature searches; documents experiments and preparations in detail, writes lab reports; performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have a BS degree in Chemistry with 2-3 years of chemistry lab experience. A strong background in organic chemistry is required.
Must be a good team player and possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments, execute the job assignment in detail with care. Knowledge of basic research and development techniques is also required.
