Job Posting for Sr. Electrical Engineer at Nova Biomedical Corporation
Nova Biomedical is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the system level electrical architecture of projects/devices that they are assigned. You will perform highly complex Electrical Engineering and supervise junior level engineers, PCB designers, and technicians that are assigned to the project.
More specific responsibilities will include:
- In conjunction with the Mechanical/Systems Engineer, develop an appropriate electrical architecture that meets the projects design requirements. This includes the development of system level block diagrams.
- Responsible for the development of new Microcontroller/Electrical Platforms that can be amortized of multiple products.
- Develop appropriate Electrical Specifications Documents and Programming Guides that can be used the projects Software Development Team.
- Conduct Design Reviews and address issues that have been raised.
- Assist in risk analyses for key components and assemblies.
Qualifications:
- BSEE or equivalent required. MSEE is desirable.
- 10 years of product development. Ideally in a Medical Device Company.
- Excellent mixed signal design skills.
- Experience with EN60601 and EN61010 standards.
- Strong experience in the design of Digital and Analog Circuits.
- Familiarity with the following is desirable but not required:
- BLE and Wi-Fi circuit design and trouble shooting
- Wireless Power Transfer Technology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Apps.
- Experience with PADS schematic capture.
