Civil Engineer (Land Development) - PE Required

Established in 1996, NOVA was originally founded to provide Environmental Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection services to the design and construction community, largely in the southeastern United States.  Since our founding, NOVA has added additional service lines such as Facilities and Building Envelope, Forensics, Municipal and more. NOVA Engineering is hiring a licensed Civil Engineer in the West Palm Beach, FL metropolitan statistical area. The selected candidates will be responsible for planning, coordinating and approving the work of professional and technical staff, depending on area of assignment, preparing reports and presentations, preparation and implementation of designs and/or project specifications; reviewing site plans, permits and zoning petitions; development review with consultant engineers; preparing traffic signing and marking plans and/or traffic signal plans and timing sequences; utilization of traffic engineering software; and coordinating geometric alignments and computations.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required
• Four (4) years of civil engineering experience primarily reviewing site plans, permits, and zoning petitions
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required (Florida)
