CMT Project Manager (with PE)

Established in 1996, NOVA was originally founded to provide Environmental Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection services to the design and construction community, largely in the southeastern United States. NOVA Engineering is hiring a CMT Project Manager to work on Construction Materials Testing (CMT) & Special Inspection (SI) projects throughout the Columbia, SC.

Duties include:

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects
• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

The preferred candidate will have:

• 5 years experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections
• Certifications in ACI and/or ICC such as Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Post Tensioned Concrete
• Valid state driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• BS in Civil Engineering with PE or ability to obtain
