What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dermatology NP position at Nova Skin?
Nova Skin is expanding our practice! We are looking an experienced nurse practitioner in Dermatology/ NP Field to work independently as our main dermatology provider (without Doctor supervision).
Evaluating the patient's skin health condition and analyzing their medical history will comprise your primary day-to-day dermatologist responsibilities. You’ll examine patients and determine dermatological treatments (e.g. medication, procedure, etc.). You’ll also monitor and report on treatment progress and refer patients to other specialists if needed.
For this role, it’s important that you have previous experience working as a dermatology NP. This includes using dermatological tools.
Responsibilities
MUST WORK INDEPENDENTLY WITH LITTLE SUPERVISION
- Evaluate patient skin condition(s)
- Assess and update patient medical history
- Keep a record of patient symptoms
- Analyze all information regarding skin health conditions
- Prescribe medication
- Inform patients about available treatments
- Monitor the effectiveness of skin treatments
- Conduct medical procedures
- Educate patients on preventive skin care
- Refer patients to other specialists if needed
Requirements
- Experience preferred in a dermatology practice
- In-depth knowledge of various dermatological methods
- Ability to analyze complex information
- Active communication skills and the ability to effectively explain medical terms to patients
- A resilient and compassionate personality
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred: Interest/Experience in Aesthetic Field
Flexible Schedule - discussed at interview
Pay will be discussed.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
