Novant Health is seeking a Lactation Consultant Intern to provide support through an educational experience to the administrative team via projects, active participation in meetings, and management of rotation assignments, under the direction of the preceptor within a one-year period, the length of the fellowship. Participates in rotations to gain exposure to different functions within the hospital. Coordinates the Presbyterian Hospital Medical Explorers Program.

Qualifications
- Education: MHA, MBA or equivalent from an accredited graduate program.
- Work experience: Minimum one-year experience in a healthcare environment, preferred.
- Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of healthcare delivery and practice. Strong analytical, project management, and presentation skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and all levels of authority. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be flexible and able to respond to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Special conditions: Must be selected through the Administrative Residency Program process by submitting a resume, a personal statement of interest in pursuing an administrative residency at Presbyterian Hospital, a graduate school transcript, and two letters of recommendation (of which one is from the graduate level MHA or MBA academic program).
