Overview
The Labor and Delivery unit at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center located in Charlotte, NC, has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse with at least one (1) year of experience in L&D, ICU, critical care, emergency department, or med/surg to join our remarkable team.
L&D Department/ Unit Overview:
- 20 bed unit, 6 triage, and 3 ORs
- Ratio: 1:2
- Patient Population- Women
- Schedule: full-time night shift (7P-7A, 36 hours per week). Weekend and holiday rotation required. This unit does self-scheduling!

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. STABLE within 90 days of hire, required. C-EFM required < 2 yrs EFM experience within 2 yrs of hire; > 2 yrs EFM experience within 6 months of hire, required. See essential functions for further requirements.
