What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contact Research Analyst position at Novation Ventures?
JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinate and administer various investigative methods / techniques (skip trace) in the pursuit of locating customers. All duties must be performed within the scope of applicable laws and regulations, operating in a manner that represents professionalism and integrity. The position will primarily use on-line resources.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs investigative activities to evaluate and determine the whereabouts of customers through database searches and system records.
- Locate customers of the company using databases, internet and other search tools of the company
- Maintain and document customer accounts to reflect updated information
- Accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
- Review for accuracy and completeness; update information and/or evaluate against policy; compare elements for consistency or logical relationships, etc.
- Meet production goals established by supervisors and management.
- Follow policies, procedures and regulations while performing skip-tracing activities.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of online research tools, databases, court files, government records, regulatory agencies and more.
- Attention to detail and ability to think outside-the-box are a must.
- The ability to communicate with coworkers in a positive manner
- Excellent Customer Service Skills, partnering with internal clients such as account managers, sales assistants and underwriting staff to solve problems and generate business.
- Must have a sense of urgency and have strong observation skills.
- Motivated Self-Starter with the ability to multitask, works independently, and operates in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept Skills in Word, WordPerfect, Outlook, Excel, Adobe with an aptitude to learn additional software packages.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s Degree (2 year college)
- 1+ years of experience in a data-entry or quality assurance role
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- No minimum certifications needed.
