Summary of the Position : We are seeking a Bioinformatics Engineer to join our Manufacturing Sciences and Technology Department. This person will be responsible for performing trending and statistical analyses of manufacturing data, developing and maintaining data warehouse solutions for a fast-paced and Part 11 compliant environment, and creating new data automation and visualization tools. Level will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Implementing data and automation solutions for the collection, analysis, and visualization of manufacturing data, trends, and KPIs.
- Trending of drug substance process data, identification and investigation of adverse trends
- Administration and configuration of a Part 11 compliant data warehouse and trending software solution.
- Meeting with key Novavax stakeholders to identify data set needs and work with IT to deliver technical solutions to satisfy those needs
- Providing analytic solutions to provide visibility into manufacturing performance
Minimum Requirements :
- BS in relevant scientific discipline with 3 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience in SQL and other ETL languages or tools, Azure data tools, Python (preferred).
- Experience in data visualization for statistical analysis and for performance management/KPIs, like Power BI or Tableau
- Experience in analytic/statistical tools, like JMP
- Experience with automation of data capture and cleaning, like Alteryx.
- Proven experience in collaborating in matrix teams in a technical environment
- Knowledge of Part 11 compliance requirements for data integrity, data warehouse and trending systems, and statistical process control
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
