Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support the following government task:
Primary responsibilities:
- Independently executes technical writing activities in support of KM strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
- Writes, re-writes, and/or edits standing operating procedures (SOPs), technical documents, white papers, reports, and related technical publications to clearly and effectively communicate technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
- Acquires subject knowledge through stakeholder interviews, observing performance of mission execution methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.
- Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts. Conducts quality reviews of materials for publication and distribution.
Education and Experience:
- BS with 18 years experience as a Technical Writer working in the Intelligence Community (IC)
- MS with 10 years of experience in Technical Writing working in the Intelligence Community (IC).
