ABOUT NOVILLA RNG

Novilla RNG is a nationwide developer of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects at dairies across the continent. Our mission is providing a sustainable and beneficial path for North American agriculture to reduce their greenhouse gas footprint and create a reliable income stream. Our process digests cow manure, creating a biogas that is purified into pipeline quality natural gas that can be use in a variety of ways. The digestion of the manure mitigates the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from dairy lagoons.

GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the proper calibration, communication, functioning, and programming of instrumentation at several renewable natural gas facilities. This Wisconsin position reports to local operations management. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of gas flow metering, gas analysis, 4-20mA signals, digital signals, instrumentation, PLC’s and machinery typical to the oil/gas industry.

PRINICIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Ensure instrumentation is properly functioning
• Maintenance, operations, and repairs as needed at RNG facility
• HMI and PLC programming as needed
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Other roles as decided by management

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High School degree and training in relevant area. Associates degree in relevant field preferred.

• Gas flow metering calibration and troubleshooting – in particular thermal mass flow meters and Coriolis flow meters
• Gas analyzer troubleshooting and calibration – in particular infrared and gas chromatographs
• 4-20 mA troubleshooting
• Electrical troubleshooting for plant
• Maintenance of plant instrumentation
• Creation of instrumentation maintenance plan
• Office 365 skillset – particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Displays a positive attitude, is highly motivated and results oriented
• Ability to establish and maintain confidential and effective working relationships with supervisor, coworkers, management, and the general public
• Ability to function within a matrix organization in which functional and business leaders have equal authority within the organization and employees report to both a functional leader and a business leader

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role requires working alongside other plant personnel and will be required to walk across uneven terrain, operate heavy machinery, climb ladders, walk 82 feet of stairs, lift 50lbs to chest level, and use large tools. Work is performed in an area leased from a dairy farm and near manure lagoons.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The employee performs job duties an area leased from a dairy farm and near manure lagoons. Smells, noises, and ground conditions associated with farming are pervasive in the area. Travel will be required between both sites being supervised and occasionally to other Novilla RNG sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
