What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Clerk position at Novo Health Services?
JOB PURPOSE: Completes purchasing functions including procuring supplies, equipment, and services and ensuring adherence to contracts with suppliers are consistent with corporate objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to meet essential job functions with, or without accommodations
1. Review and process orders for designated plants
2. Review purchase orders for authorization and compliance with organizational policy and procedures.
3. Maintain and monitor compliance with corporate purchasing policies
4. Establish and maintain approved product costs and specifications
5. Troubleshoot cost, quality and delivery concerns
6. Mirror setup, performance and reporting in multiple computer systems
7. Coordinate and process returns
8. Ability to develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with suppliers as well as contacts within the company
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple situations at one time
10. Self-Starter able to work independently and with little supervision
11. Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Associate degree in Business or equivalent office experience
2. Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
