What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly position at Novo Nordisk?
The position
As Director for Assembly Process, you will lead a department consisting of 4 Managers and 60 experts & specialists responsible for the assembly manufacturing processes across all devices produced in Novo Nordisk Finished Product.
Your main responsibilities will be focused on : Heading the Assembly Process department, which involves supporting all Finished Product Assembly related activities across Product Supply (PS) globally Supporting the design of new Assembly lines, as well as implementing them in the global network for various products Ensuring process responsibility within assembly through process validation, product control strategy, and process development across PS globally Hosting PS Process Group responsible (PGR) globally within assembly and collaborate with external suppliers, institutions, and academia to lead technology development Global travel activity might be required (up to 10 days per year).
Qualifications To be a competitive candidate, you should have : A bachelor’s degree within engineering, life science or any other relevant field Relevant work experience in production ideally obtained within the pharmaceutical industry or any other highly regulated industry (such as food industry) and navigating projects in complex organisations Knowledge with advanced manufacturing assembly processes At least, 5 years of people management experience (being a leader of leaders) Professional proficiency in English On a personal level, you are a team player who finds joy in assisting others and sharing knowledge.

About the department You will join Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) and the Assembly department that has responsibilities across Novo Nordisk for assembled finished products.
We are bridging product development to production, and we are driving development and standardisation of new and state of the art assembly processes.
Further we are responsible for establishing assembly capacity worldwide for new and marketed products in compliance with current regulatory requirements and in close interaction with Novo Nordisk global production sites.
We have an end-to-end presence from device development to production implementation and support to running production. Our department is in Hillerød and includes a diverse international team of skilled professionals including project managers, specialists, validation and process experts.
